Sancta Maria has an outstanding record in sporting achievement. The Sports Co-ordinator and Teacher coaches organise participation in:

Hockey	Basketball
Badminton	Camogie
Gaelic Football	Football
Tennis	Athletics

Last year the College won the Leinster Final in Junior Hockey; were finalists in Leinster Gaelic Football. A senior Camogie team won the Dublin Colleges final; an under 19 team won the Dublin final in Badminton, while the other Badminton teams were finalists in the Leinster and Dublin competitions. In athletics, Sancta Maria students won medals in the Leinster championship and in the All-Ireland championships in June. In July, one Sancta Maria student won a gold medal for high jump in the International Schools Championships in Scotland.
